Guesthouse:
85 euro per night from October-May, breakfast for 2 included.
89 euro per night from June-September, breakfast for 2 included.

Guestroom:
55 euro per night from October-May, breakfast for 2 included.
59 euro per night from June-September, breakfast for 2 included.

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a booking deposit, which consists of 50% of the total price of your stay.
For stays of one week or longer, discounts apply.

How to get here:

Casa da Felicidade is most easily reached by car.

Car: Car rental services are present at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto. We are about a 65 km or 45 min drive away. We are located about 4.5 km outside the town of Amarante, in a freguesia called Gatão. Directions will be sent after a booking deposit is made. Taxi services are available at the airport. A ride to Gatão will cost approximately 70 euro. Alternatively, a pick-up by us can be arranged for an additional fee.

Bus: There is a Rodonorte bus service that runs from the city centre of Porto to the town of Amarante. Buses run multiple times a day. A one-way ticket costs about 7.80 euro. Tickets can be booked online (rodonorte.pt) or at the ticket office in the bus terminal. There is a taxi line outside the bus terminal in Amarante. We are only a short drive away. On request, pick-ups by us can be arranged.

Train: The Amarante train station has been closed for a number of years. The nearest train station is that of Penafiel, which is about 30 km or a 25 min drive away. It takes about 40 mins to reach Penafiel from Porto by train. On request, pick-ups from the train station can be arranged for an additional fee.
